Getting ready for a BIG trip.

Here i am drinking a cup of sweet, hot chocolate in my cozy and warm apartment. Inside, the thermometer reports 24°C but outside we have a totally different story. A very early winter and a incredibly snowy thanksgiving weekend has left us with snowy roads and a very cold temperature of -4°C. However, if you have been following this blog, you know that these harsh conditions are nothing compared to the challenges our brave team of researchers are facing 14,323.11Km away in Antarctica: probably the most challenging environment on the planet.

Many of you might not be familiar with the °C and Km. They represent temperature in degrees Celsius and distance in kilometers. Can anyone help me convert those units to the more familiar miles and Fahrenheit?
