U student Casey L. Coombs, who is completing a Master of Science in International Affairs and Global Enterprise, is serving a fellowship in New York as UN correspondent for the Diplomatic Courier. Casey wrote last week about the situation in Ivory Coast. Todays news is that Ivorian leader Laurent Gbagbo has been detained and placed under UN police guard.
