Moorpark’s “Dig Pink” night Tuesday
Noah Sadlier on October 16, 2010 in Education Sport SectionThe Moorpark College women’s volleyball team will host its annual “Dig Pink” night to raise funds and awareness for National Breast Cancer Month Tuesday at 7 p.m., when the WSC North co-leaders will host Hancock at Raider Pavilion.
The Raiders starting lineup includes libero Erika Smith, a sophomore from Newbury Park who overcame childhood leukemia.
The team’s special “Dig Pink” t-shirts will be on sale. Funds raised will benefit the Sideout Foundation, originators of the national campaign.
