Northwestern, Stanford to meet on gridiron

The Wildcats will host the first game and head to Palo Alto the following year, with games at Northwestern in 2021 and Stanford in 2022.
The schools have played six times, most recently a 41-41 tie in 1994. In a statement released Wednesday, Northwestern athletic director Jim Phillips says he’s “thrilled” to add Stanford to the schedule.
