Public Invited to Master Plan Open House

Utah Valley University is revamping its master building plan, and as part of the process, is seeking input from the community. Residents, students, and any interested parties can review and respond to the plan at the master plan open house, Aug. 12, from 6-8 p.m. in room 206 of the Sorensen Student Center.
The current campus master plan was adopted in 2005. Since then, enrollment has risen, the institution gained university status and there have been several updates to the plan. The current plan includes specific campus needs including: the new science building, a new student and wellness building, a performing arts facility, a new business entryway, relocation of the field house, a link to 800 South and the interchange, new parking structures, new property at Thanksgiving Point, proposed Geneva Steel property and a new building resource center.
